Photography Classes

Learn how to take better pictures no matter what camera you have. Each photography class is about two hours long, includes an illustrative slide show and a note-taking-booklet for you to keep.

#1 - Introduction to Photography

This class will explain lens selection and the change in perspective between wide angle and telephoto lenses. We will also cover camera handling, care and maintenance of your equipment and composition.

#2 - Understanding Exposure

In this class Bob explains apertures, shutter speeds and ISO speeds, their mathematic relationship to each other and their effect on the picture. This is a difficult class and some students will choose to take this class twice.

#3 - Applications

Now that you have learned many of the basic rules of thumb about photography this class will help you learn how to apply that knowledge to portraits, landscapes, fast action sports, macro photography and low light situations.

Note:

It can be helpful, though not absolutely necessary, to bring your camera, instruction manual and charged battery with you to these classes.

Class size is limited to twelve so sign up today!
